WHAT I DO

I’m an artist, surface pattern designer, and entrepreneur. I did a 16 year stint as a Landscape Designer for High - End Residences in Dallas, TX. It was there that I learned a whole heck of a lot about immaculate design, impeccable customer service, and growing a small business.

WHO I AM

I’m a WIFE, and MOM to 3 beautiful kiddos. I’m a GRIEF WARRIOR… having lost my dad, to an ugly battle with cancer, when I was 14 years old. I’m a SURVIVOR… three weeks after my 3rd baby was born, I survived a SCAD Heart Attack. I’m a BELIEVER that we get this one life… and it’s up to us to choose how we live it. I let my pain fuel my passions… and I am here to live out my PURPOSE.

And well, my purpose is using my [creative] gifts and [life] experiences for GOOD. Family has always been my number one priority, and creating a warm, loving, and beautiful home comes in at a close second. I believe it’s up to us to create the world we want to live in.

and that’s how HINCH.KIN was born.

what does HINCH.KIN mean?

“Hinch - is my maiden name… and my mom always called us her little hinch-kins growing up! I think I chose that for two reasons..

1. I wanted to create an inclusive atmosphere - where people feel like they are part of the family.

2. There were no boys in my family to carry on that name - so to me it carries on a legacy and turns tragedy into something good”
